Neither Orchids nor Clivia

Over the years I have acquired several other plants, some by chance and others because of interest.  Once you add a plant to your collection, it is difficult not to propagate it, so I have plants available of most of these.
I do not usually bring non-orchids to shows or talks unless pre-ordered.

Crassula ovata = 'Jade Tree'

Wintering Jade Trees for acquaintances led to a few broken branches.  When you stick those in a pot with soil, you end up with more Jade Trees.

I have two types, standard 'spade' shaped leaves & 'club' shaped leaves (possibly = 'Gollum' clone).  These are too large to ship, so available for pick-up only.

Mature trees are $40-65 each, depending upon size.

Cyrtanthus elatus = 'Scarborough Lily'

This Amaryllis relative is small (2.1/2"-3" pots), and easy to grow.  It readily produces offsets, so you will get plantlets to share with friends & relatives.  All my plants descend from a single bulb, so the flower photo is actual for all the plants available.  This plant can be shipped.

NBS with a few offsets  :   $12 ea

BS with multiple offsets:   $18 ea

Gasteria 'Sakura Fuji'

This succulent requires very little water from November to March.  They are safe to ship, and they are safe for dogs & cats.

I purchased the original plant on the advise of a friend.  It produced plenty of offsets, so I now have plants to spare in several sizes ($12 - $25).  The larger plants bloom reliably every spring.

Hibiscus, tropical hybrids

During the Covid crisis I got a bit carried away with these.  I currently have about 25 mature plants.  Flowers range from 4" to more than 9" in diameter, they last 2-3 days, and the color changes (matures) somewhat during this time.

Tropical hibiscus can go outside once the night time temperature gets up to 50°F (10°C).  In CA full sun is not recommended, but in NJ that is OK.

I would like to reduce my collection a little, so a limited number of plants are for sale ($75-125 ea), but they are too large to ship.

Hoyas = 'Wax plants'

These tropical vines are easy house plants.  They should just dry out between waterings, and they are safe for both dogs & cats.

There are many different species.  I currently have about half a dozen.  Depending upon species & color form, mature plants range from $18 to $36 each.  These plants can be shipped.

Pinguicula (moranensis?) or possibly a hybrid Butterwort

This little carnivorous plant helps control the little gnats, which often appear when growing orchids in spaghnum moss.   And, it produces an attractive pink flower from time to time.

Should be grown in pure spaghnum moss, and kept consistently moist.  Plants will readily multiply, producing new rosettes, which are easy to separate from the mother plant.

BS in 3" pot:   $15 ea.

Senicio morganianum = 'Burro's Tail'

This succulent does well with little water.  Mature plants bloom in spring.  Not toxic to pets or kids.

Formerly classified as Sedum morganianum.  Somebody abandonded a plant in the greenhouse I am using; a few sprigs had broken off and rooted directly on the bench.  After rescuing those, I subsequently produced a few more.  I now have mature plants available in hanging pots, $35 each.

The 'leaves' are very brittle, so this plant cannot be shipped.  Available for pick-up either at the greenhouse, or when I attend shows or orchid society meetings.
